Sprout Home Chicago

Sprout Home Chicago Sprout Home offers a curated selection of plants, flowers and home goods in West Town, Chicago.

Sprout Home believes that a modern aesthetic can live in both the home and garden. Our brick and mortar stores were created to bring about a fresh concept to the home garden center – by bridging design and flora. Sprout Home opened its doors in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago, IL in 2003 and its second store in Williamsburg Brooklyn NY in 2007. Founder Tara Heibel operates the Chicago store, while partner Tassy de Give heads up the Brooklyn home front. Sprout Home offers a full landscape design service, specializing in contemporary garden design and rooftop/deck container gardening. We’re happy to work with designers, both local and abroad, to offer our product lines that are both functional and beautiful. We offer products and plants that any urban gardener would desire, along with our hand-picked home goods. Come in for our ground basics, check out our tools and accessories and stay for our must-have plants for your garden or windowsill. Each store also boasts a lush floral design department, offering fresh cut flowers and special occasion bouquets for your wedding or event. Along side floral, we construct custom terrariums of many shapes, styles and sizes. We design our terrariums based on your specific light requirements insuring a long and successful life with proper care. Sprout Home has a door to door delivery service for floral, terrariums, and potted plants.

“Co-curated with Stephen Eichhorn, VERDE presents work by artists who share a grounding in the generative and mystical power of the natural world. Pots, vessels and sculptures explore organic materials and ideas of containment- of plants, flora, and representation- while embracing the vessel as both form and concept.” -SEACRIST|BEACH

SATELLITE’S VERDE

SATELLITE’s inaugural project VERDE opens on the occasion of the fourth annual Chicago Exhibition Week.

SECRIST | BEACH is thrilled to announce their new project space, SATELLITE. This creative incubator will pioneer new modes of encountering organic concepts across disciplines and media, fostering experimentation, collaboration, and exchange. The inaugural project of SATELLITE, titled VERDE, is a collaborative project between gallery artist Stephen Eichhorn and new partners: designer Bridgette Buckley and builder Jason Lewis along with Tara Heibel and Stephen Hill of Sprout Home. Additionally, educator and author Giovanni Aloi and creative director Chris Hunter are providing cultural programming and strategic initiatives, respectively.
