We had an amazing turnout for our final Eastern Leaf Bonsai Community Study Group of 2026!

It was great to see so many bonsai enthusiasts come together to share ideas, work on their trees, learn new techniques, and connect with others who share a passion for bonsai.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made this session such a success! We appreciate your continued support and look forward to more opportunities to learn and grow together in 2027!

Scraping deadwood is one of those bonsai techniques that really adds personality to a tree. By carefully cleaning away loose bark and soft wood, you can reveal beautiful natural grain, texture, and movement that give the tree an older, more weathered look.
