Great information for those looking to stain their new installs or installs that are weathered and need some life put back in them!! Give our good friends over at Shockley Outdoor Finishes for all your staining needs!! They do decks too!

Did you know there are different types of stains? Each one offers a different look and level of protection.

Clear sealants: No added color, allowing the natural wood to show through.

Transparent: Adds a hint of color while showing off the natural wood grain.

Semi-Transparent: Adds more color while still allowing the wood grain to show.

Semi-Solid: Provides richer color while hiding most of the wood grain.

Solid: Gives full color coverage, similar to paint, while still allowing the wood’s texture to show.

Beautiful board on board cap and trim privacy! This fence will provide the most privacy since the boards overlap, helping the gaps that happen when the wood begins to dry out and shrink a little!! We love this style!

THIS is why we do what we do!

There’s nothing better than hearing from a happy customer after a job is complete. We work hard to show up when we say we will, communicate throughout the process, and most importantly, leave our customers with a fence they love.

Reviews like this mean more to our small, family-owned business than you know. Thank you, Cindy, for trusting North Hall Fence with your project — and for taking the time to share your experience!

At the end of the day, it’s not just about building fences. It’s about taking care of our customers, doing what we say we’re going to do, and building something we can all be proud of.

North Hall Fence — Quality work. Honest service. Happy customers. Give us a call today to get your project started!
