who needs another coat closet?! not us! i would do this over and over again! once we built our mudroom, this closet went unused but now it’s pretty AND functional. we have storage underneath and pretty things to display above.

part two of our diy backsplash for our bench seat. i found this flexible molding on amazon for $16 which was the perfect design and size for this piece. taylor cut w scissors and placed right at the edge, before the routered detail. i think it was the perfect add on to make it stand out.
