Thank you to Laird James Hennemann owner of Hennemann's Dirt Work and Consulting LLC and Hennemann's Construction for bringing me on to this awesome project. James brought together a great group of people to get this project done in time.

**WE NEED YOU!**

The Deepwater Labor Harvest Picnic has been bringing our community together for 124 years. Think about that for a minute. Generations of families have grown up with this picnic, made memories here, and looked forward to coming back year after year.

Now it’s our turn to decide what happens next.

We are looking for a few good people to join our board, including **Treasurer and Secretary positions that need to be filled.**

You don’t have to be a lifelong board member. You don’t have to know everything. You just have to care about your community, be willing to help, and want to be part of something that brings people together.

Being on the board means being part of the planning, the excitement, the friendships, the laughs, the challenges and, most importantly, the feeling you get when you see the picnic come together and know you helped make it happen.

**You could be the person who helps keep this tradition going for another 124 years.**

If you have ever said, *“I love the Deepwater Picnic,”* maybe it’s time to be more than someone who comes to it.

**Come be part of making it happen.**

If you’re interested in learning more about the **Treasurer, Secretary, or other board opportunities**, reach out to me, Tracy or Joann. We would love to talk with you.

**The picnic belongs to all of us. Let’s keep it going together.**
