🍁 Autumn Blaze® Maple (Acer × freemanii ‘Jeffersred’) is starting to pop with brilliant orange-red fall color at Richland Farm! A fast-growing shade tree reaching about 40–60 ft. tall and 30–40 ft. wide, it thrives in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing and mulch around the root zone, keeping mulch away from the trunk. Hardy in Zones 4–8 and an excellent choice for Missouri landscapes. 🍁

🍁 Sienna Glen Maple is ready to bring some serious fall color to your landscape! This fast-growing maple reaches about 40–50 feet tall and 30–40 feet wide, making it an excellent shade tree for large lawns and open spaces. Plant it in full sun to partial shade with well-drained, moderately moist soil. Eastern redbud is a particularly good choice for Missouri landscapes because it combines native habitat value, spring flowers, attractive foliage, and a manageable mature size.

Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis) typically grows 20–30 feet tall and wide, developing a rounded, spreading form with attractive branching. It is a relatively fast-growing, small ornamental tree that works well as a specimen or accent tree. Plant in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil, allowing plenty of room for its mature width. Redbuds are especially well suited for lawns, woodland edges, naturalized areas, and residential landscapes. If you have a location that has some late afternoon shade in the summer that would be perfect spot.

Toyo-Nishiki Flowering Quince is an eye-catching, easy-care shrub that brings an unusual splash of color to the landscape just as winter is fading. Its bare branches burst into a mix of pink, white, and red blooms in early spring, followed by glossy green foliage and fragrant fruit in fall. Its dense, growth makes it useful as a specimen, informal hedge, or barrier planting. Plant in full sun for the heaviest bloom and prune after flowering to maintain its shape.
