Tired and Retired… but still racing for a good cause. 🛏️👵🏼

This past Saturday, our team joined the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio’s Bed Race, dressing the part and making our (very slow) way to the finish line.

Behind all the costumes, creativity and friendly competition is a cause that matters: helping local children and families move from sleeping on the floor to sleeping in a bed of their own.

Every team and every dollar raised helps furnish homes with the things families need to feel comfortable, settled and at home.

We’re grateful to have been part of a day that supports such important work in our community. ❤️

Every mile matters when the finish line is a future without childhood cancer. 💛

Throughout September, the CancerFree KIDS 100 Mile Challenge brought teams together to move, fundraise, and support childhood cancer research.

Our KBI team was proud to be part of it, logging 1,591.02 miles and raising $3,846.72 to help fund research that can give kids better treatments, better outcomes, and more birthdays.

We’re grateful to everyone who walked, ran, donated, and cheered us on. Every mile and every dollar helps move the fight against childhood cancer forward.

We made the list!

King Business Interiors landed at #10 on Columbus Business First’s list of the Largest Central Ohio Women-Owned Businesses, ranked by 2025 revenue.

For a company that started around a kitchen table in 1998, we’re pretty proud of how far this little family business has come.

Today, KBI is still woman-owned, still family-run, and still right here in Columbus, helping businesses simplify everything that goes into their workplace furniture, flooring and wall solutions.

A big thank you to our team, our customers and everyone who has trusted us along the way. We wouldn’t be here without you. ❤️

Your employees don’t all work the same way, so why are they all working from the same setup?

A person who spends their day on calls has different needs than someone who needs hours of uninterrupted focus. Someone who collaborates constantly needs something different, too.

When the workspace doesn’t match the work, people find workarounds. And those workarounds can cost your business time, productivity, and money.

The goal isn’t more furniture. It’s the right solution for the way your team actually works.

That’s where good workplace planning makes a difference.

Some golf outings are about the score. This one is about the outfits, the golf carts, the laughs, and a really good cause. 💗

Every year, women from the design community come together for Chix With Stix to raise money for breast cancer research at the Stephanie Spielman Research Center at OSU. And while the cause is serious, the day is anything but. From wildly creative golf cart decorations to themed outfits, big laughs and a little friendly competition, these chix know how to have a good time for a great cause.

Two days in Philly. A LOT of learning. And a lot of fun!

Emma and Camille headed to the Haworth Philly showroom for two days of training, where they dove into power, learned all about Haworth’s new dual-circuit system, checked out new products, and picked up some serious CET tips & tricks.

And because no work trip is complete without a little fun… they squeezed in some Philly sightseeing, tried to visit the Liberty Bell (pro tip: you can’t bring your luggage in with you 🤦‍♀️), ate great food, and checked out some pretty cool art installations along the way.

Happy Friday from two very well-trained and slightly more cultured designers! ✈️🏙️
