First look at our first home staged from 𝘰𝘶𝘳 new home, Vesta

This new construction home features concrete floors, wood accents including a giant walnut slab kitchen island, soaring ceilings and a touch of green cabinets, laying the groundwork for an earthy, modern space.

When working with new construction, our job is to provide a place to land within the space. Mentally, physically, soulfully. To sink in. To exhale.

Touchable fabrics in sculptural shapes, warm, collected details and substantial, highest-quality furniture bring the hand down while the eye bounces around the rooms, marveling at architectural elements.

More to come soon from this special home. Join us Thursday 10/22 on broker’s tour.

Rideshare: How does a nice restaurant communicate their food is worth $40 an entree when you first open the door?
Why just checking the ‘staged’ box isn’t enough to communicate value anymore.

My dear friend Jenny on Netflix’s new Turning Point: The 9/11 Generation.
We were roommates at Cal watching the towers fall on TV, and she went on to shape how our world will forever remember as oral historian for the 9/11 Museum.
Spending 10 years listening to tapes, interviewing, collecting stories and artifacts. Shaping stories with the diligence of a soldier, fighting for those who could not speak.
The cover for this reel on our profile page is the iconic New Yorker magazine cover. Both the video and the cover photo ask the question: how can art possibly ever capture the immensity of the event and of loss? And in asking, they did.
Never forget.

Some homes are just about following the stepping stones.

First, there were undertones. Lovely moss-green undertones in taupe & beige limestone. Punctuated by classic yet modern cherry wood.

Then, homeowners brought in floor-to-ceiling custom gray-green curtains to lean in to the earthy undercurrent of the limestone.

From there, we knew we had a beautiful foundation to work from. Through our Turnkey program, we neutralized some of the client’s colorful walls while bringing muted color into other areas, such as the gray-green cabinets in the family room.

The final step, staging focused on cream, taupe & beige to highlight and soften against the copious, beautiful stone.
