Some days, taking care of homes starts at a desk.

Kyle spent today sending out quotes, helping homeowners take the next step toward getting those lingering projects handled.

The loose doorknob. The drywall patch you keep noticing. The curtains still waiting to be hung. Small projects can add up to a list you’d love someone else to handle.

That’s where H2H comes in.

Do you actually need a walkthrough to get a quote from H2H? Not always.

A good rule of thumb is symptom vs. scope.

If you tell us, “My railing is loose,” we may need to see the project to determine why it’s loose before we can accurately tell you what needs to be repaired.

If you tell us, “I need this bedroom painted and six pictures hung,” the work is already clearly defined—and we may be able to quote it from the information and photos you send us.

We don’t want to make you schedule a walkthrough when one isn’t necessary. But we also don’t want to guess at the solution when there may be more happening than what’s visible on the surface.

Not sure? Send us your project. We’ll let you know whether we can quote it remotely or if a walkthrough is the better next step.

Soccer first. Work next. ⚽️🔨

We’re starting our Saturday at Eli’s game before heading out to work today.

One of the things we’re most grateful for about building H2H is having the opportunity to build a business that allows us to show up well for our clients while still being present for the moments that matter at home.

Okay… game first. Then back to handyman mode. 💙🏠

When we started a handyman business, I’m not sure “figure out how to make Reels” was anywhere in the business plan. 😂

But here we are.

Somewhere between walkthroughs, estimates, projects, scheduling, and actually running the business… apparently this is part of the job too.

Small business ownership: where everybody has approximately 47 job titles.
