Closing the loop, one pile at a time. 🌎

We were excited to welcome the Bayou Preservation Group to Nature’s Way Resources for a facility tour led by Ian Ferguson and Michael Spurlock! It was a great opportunity to show how we turn materials that might otherwise end up in a landfill into valuable compost and soil products.

But the story doesn’t stop at composting. Our products can also play a role in bioremediation, supporting efforts to restore and improve impacted environments. It’s a great example of how materials once considered waste can become valuable resources.

We also highlighted one of our retention ponds, which helps us collect rainwater and recycle water for use during the composting process. By capturing and reusing water on-site, we’re taking additional steps to make our operations more resource-conscious.

We love opening our doors, sharing what happens behind the scenes, and connecting with others who care about protecting our natural resources.

We’re excited to highlight Wild Waste Compost, the compost we produce in partnership with the Houston Zoo and Zero Waste Houston.

We’re celebrating our friends at Enchanted Forest, one of our Nature’s Way Resources retailers, as they celebrate 25 YEARS in business this weekend!

Their facility is looking extra festive for the season, with fall plants, beautiful displays, photo-worthy spots, and plenty of things to take home for your own garden. 🍁🌿

We had such a great time at Woodlands Landscape Solutions!

One of our favorite parts of what we do is getting out into the community, seeing familiar faces, meeting new gardeners, and talking about all things compost, soil, mulch, plants, and everything in between.
