The AWWTec toilet is making its way to Deer Park! ⛳🚽

Billy will be set up at Hole #1 at Battleground Golf Course for Tee off the Toilet. Make a donation, grab a club and give it your best shot!

We’ll keep things going the next day at the TWUA Gulf Area All Day School. Billy will be at Booth #1 with drinks and, of course, the candy bowl.

Come have some fun with us and support a great TWUA event!

Saturday was a fun one in Bee County!

Touch the Truck had a little bit of everything—airplanes flying overhead, police dogs, Game Warden airboats, SWAT trucks and plenty of big equipment for the kids to check out.

We loved getting to be part of it, spend some time with the community and let the kids test out the air horn on our truck. Safe to say, that was a hit!

Thanks, Bee County, for a great weekend!

Saturday looks a little different for us this week!

We’re out in Beeville supporting the Bee County Touch the Truck event. Plane rides, fire trucks, and even our SEMCO rig are out here for families to check out.

We’re always happy to show up and support Bee County when we get the chance!

Water coming UP while the pipe is going DOWN? Yep, that’s supposed to happen!

Welcome to our Artesian Well Spotlight.

The water you see pouring out of the pipe isn’t being pumped. It’s coming up naturally because the groundwater below is under pressure— and that pressure doesn’t stop while we’re setting pipe!

A couple fun facts:

•Not every artesian well flows above ground. When one does, it’s called a flowing artesian well.

•Artesian wells tap into confined aquifers where groundwater is naturally under pressure.

•”Artesian” describes the pressure, not the water quality.

Pretty cool when you can actually see what all that underground pressure is doing at the surface!

Safety means making sure our crew have the knowledge and training to look out for themselves and each other on every job site. Our annual MSHA training gives us a chance to bring everyone together and keep those safe work practices fresh.

A big thank you to Safety Assessment Services, LLC for providing our training, Jessie with Geicon for lunch, and KOA San Antonio for always taking great care of us and hosting our company events!

Kicking off our annual MSHA training today! It’s always good to get our crews together, spend a day out of the Texas Sun, and focus on what helps keep everyone safe while working on Wells and job sites.

Big thank you to KOA San Antonio for always taking care of us and giving us a great place to host our company events!

Teamwork makes the job a little easier. Staying dry? Not so much.

Sometimes it takes two sets of hands to get things tightened up and keep the job moving. A little water never stopped these guys.

We’re headed to Salado!

Join us for the ARCIT Regional Conference on September 16-17. The fun starts with the golf tournament on September 16, followed that evening by the networking mixer at 6 PM, proudly sponsored by Advanced Water Well Technologies and Giant Restoration. The conference wrapped up with a full day of sessions and exhibits on September 17.

Be sure to stop by your booth and say hello to Chris and Chuck! Whether you’re joining us on the golf course, at the mixer, or during the conference, we look forward to seeing familiar faces and making new connections.

See you in Salado!

Why do we pull pipe from a water well?

There are quite a few reasons. We may need to get to the pump for an inspection, check the pipe as it comes out, inspect valves on a submersible system, or track down a possible short in the wire.

Sometimes, pulling the equipment is also necessary so we can run a Camera survey and take a closer look at the well itself— especially when we’re investigating issues like excessive drawdown.

There’s a lot we can learn about a well on the way down… And on the way back up.

Equipment Spotlight: VHS Motor

Our team is setting a water-lubricated vertical turbine pump designed to run with a Vertical Hollow Shaft (VHS) motor.

VHS motors are commonly used with deep well turbine pumps. The hollow-shaft design allows the pump shaft to pass through the motor, while the motor is built to handle the thrust created by the pumping system.

A look at one of the systems that keeps water moving from below ground to where it’s needed.
