Lord, let October be better.

Let it be gentler on the heart, lighter on the mind, and filled with moments that remind me that You are still working. September may have brought things I didn’t expect, prayers I’m still waiting on, and battles I had to fight quietly. But I’m choosing not to carry every disappointment into a new month. I’m leaving it in Your hands.

Lord, let October bring healing where I’ve been hurting, clarity where I’ve been confused, and peace where I’ve been anxious. Open the doors that are meant for me and give me the wisdom to walk away from the ones that aren’t. Let this be the month where I stop forcing what You haven’t ordained and start trusting what You are preparing. Remind me that I don’t need to have everything figured out when I have You to lead me.

Lord, I surrender October to You before it even begins. Whatever this month holds, help me receive it with faith and walk through it with You. Let October be better, not necessarily because everything will go my way, but because I will grow closer to You through everything that comes my way. May this month bring answered prayers, unexpected blessings, renewed hope, and a heart that finally feels at peace. Amen.
