We have another reproduction window delivery in the books. Eight units with a 9-over-1 fixed sash, made of OG Douglas fir and 1/4 laminate glass, Sapele jambs, and hybrid storm windows. Loadmaster Erik Genalo worked his magic and fit it all in the van for one trip!

Dry fit day! Didn’t go as planned but we figured it out. The sample we used to make the openings was wider than the seven other openings. So off came the brick mould and power planer persuasion got us there. The other 20 2nd floor double hung windows went right in.

Another delivery of double-hung windows is complete. We have built 20 double-hung windows for the second floor so far. The sash is made from old-growth fir with 1/4" laminate. Red Grandis for the jambs and Sapele Mahogany for the hybrid storm windows. Finished off with SRS brass locks, pulls, and pulleys, and stackable weights.
