This is what clean duct routing looks like from the inside.

Insulated flex runs threaded between the joists, each one carrying conditioned air out to a room, with the cavity packed full of insulation around them. The stuff you never see once the ceiling goes up, but it decides how your whole system performs.

Here is why the details matter. Flex duct has to run with smooth, gentle bends, no kinks and no sharp turns choking the airflow. Every tight crimp is air your system paid to heat or cool that never reaches the room. So we route it clean and support it right.

Then there is the wrap. Insulated ducts hold the air at the temperature you set instead of bleeding it off into a hot attic or cold cavity along the way. Paired with the insulation around them, that is what keeps rooms comfortable and bills in check.

Sloppy duct routing is one of the biggest hidden reasons a home never feels right. Done correctly, it just works, quietly, for years.

Proper routing. Proper insulation. Proper installation.

That's the Sure Temp standard.

What's the one thing homeowners forget that shortens system life?

If we had to pick just one, it is the air filter. Not how often you change it, but what happens to the whole system when you forget to.

Here is the chain reaction. A clogged filter starves your system of airflow. Starved of air, the unit runs longer and hotter to move the same amount of heat, which strains the blower motor and can freeze the coil. Every one of those parts wears out faster, and years quietly come off the life of your system.

The frustrating part is how avoidable it is. A filter costs a few dollars. A compressor or a blower motor costs hundreds, sometimes thousands.

So the single best habit for a long lasting system is the simplest one. Check the filter monthly, change it when it looks dirty, and never let it go so long that the system has to fight for air.

Picky is good. Picky means you care about getting it right, and so do we.

Rodney knew what he wanted, and instead of pushing him toward whatever was easiest, Matt worked with him to land on the exact system that fit, at a price that made sense. No pressure, no steering, just the right call for his home.

That is how you earn a customer for the long haul, and we are proud to be his go to for HVAC down the road.

Thank you, Rodney, for the trust and the recommendation.

What paperwork should I keep after a new install?

A new system is a big investment, and a few pieces of paper are what protect it. Tuck these somewhere safe and you will thank yourself later.

Keep your warranty documents first. Both the manufacturer warranty on the equipment and any labor warranty from us. If anything ever needs covered work, this is what makes it happen without a fight.

Hang on to the invoice and the model and serial numbers too. They prove what you own and when it went in, which matters for warranty claims and for resale.

Save the permit and inspection record. That is your proof the work was done to code, and a smart buyer will ask for it one day.

And keep the maintenance records as you go, since many manufacturer warranties require proof of regular upkeep to stay valid.

A simple folder or a photo of each document on your phone covers it.

Just had a system put in and not sure you have everything? Call us at 470-590-2340 and we will make sure you are set.

A fresh AC install, set up to last.

New condenser sitting level on a solid pad, tied into a clean electrical disconnect and a neat line set running straight into the wall. Simple at a glance, but every piece of it was placed with a reason.

Look at the details. The pad keeps the unit level and up off the wet ground so it drains right and does not settle over time. The disconnect is mounted clean and to code right where it belongs. And the line set runs tidy and insulated, so no efficiency gets lost between the unit and the house.

A new system is only as good as the install around it. Set it crooked, crowd it against the wall, or rush the connections, and even great equipment struggles and wears out early.

We take the extra time so yours runs efficient and lasts the way it should.

Proper pad. Proper connections. Proper installation.

That's the Sure Temp standard.

Why does my system smell like dirty socks sometimes?

You are not imagining it, and there is even a name for it. Dirty sock syndrome is a real thing, and it shows up most often right when the seasons change and you switch between heating and cooling.

Here is what is actually happening. Moisture, dust, and bacteria build up on your indoor coil over time. When the system kicks on, especially that first switch to heat in the fall, it warms all of that up and pushes the smell right out through your vents. Hence the gym sock aroma.

The good news is it is not dangerous, but it is a sign your coil needs attention and it will not clear on its own.

A fresh filter helps a little, but the real fix is cleaning the coil where the buildup actually lives, which is a job for a technician with the right tools.

Catching that smell every time the heat comes on? Call us at 470-590-2340 and we will clear it at the source.

Tucked in the basement, ready for the cold.

This is the heart of a home's heating, a gas furnace set in the basement, venting run up and out, connections tied in the way they should be. Not glamorous, but when the temperature drops, it is the most important box in the house.

With heating season closing in, this is exactly the kind of system worth a look before you really lean on it. A furnace that sat idle all summer can hide a worn part or a venting issue that only shows up on the first cold night.

We make sure it fires up clean, vents safe, and holds the heat the way it should, so your first cold morning is a non event.

Want your furnace checked before winter sets in? Call us at 470-590-2340 and we will get it ready.

We're adding a room. Can my current system handle it?

Great question to ask before the addition goes up, not after. The honest answer is maybe, and it comes down to whether your system has the extra capacity to cover the new space.

Here is the thing most people don't realize. Your HVAC system was sized for the home as it was built. Add square footage and you are asking it to heat and cool more space than it was ever designed for. Push a system past its limit and you get uneven temperatures, higher bills, and a unit that wears out early trying to keep up.

Sometimes there is room to spare and we can simply extend the ductwork into the new space. Other times the better move is a dedicated solution for that room, like a ductless mini split, so your main system is not stretched thin.

The key is planning it before the walls close up, not forcing a fix later.

Adding on to your home? Call us at 470-590-2340 and we will make sure your comfort keeps up with your new space.
