Could the direction your desk faces affect how hard your brain has to work to stay focused?

Using mobile EEG technology, Corgan’s research team, Hugo, studied adults with ADHD across different workstation configurations and found that, particularly in open offices, desk orientation corresponded with measurable differences in cognitive demand. The findings suggest that supporting focus doesn’t always require more walls or more square footage. Sometimes, small changes in how a workspace is arranged can make a meaningful difference.
