The ‘Ber months have my heart. While I’m firmly planted in Halloween girl life I am so looking forward to the Christmas girl life in a couple weeks!

It’s the best time of year and today? It’s cold and rainy, just the way I like it!

Mondays… am I right? While I can’t drink w**e right now I will be using my Phantom W**e for cooking! And some for my hubs lol.

It was a long weekend and not in the fun way. So today is a good day to kick back and relax, and reset from the stress!

I’m over here holding on to October as hard as I can! It just started and I feel like it’s going to be over any second 😭😭 I’m one of three houses that decorate on my street for Halloween and it’s so sad 😭 I remember when all the houses on my street growing up either decorated for Halloween or at least fall. The neighborhood that I lived in for over a decade in Florida was a historic neighborhood that the entire main part of the neighborhood was shut down for a massive block party, where every house went all out for Halloween and thousands of kids were bussed in to trick-or-treat.. so it’s so wild to me living in the Midwest where it actually feels like fall and Halloween and my neighborhood is a total bust. It’s definitely not everywhere. My sister lives in the next town over and her neighborhood goes all out!

I have been in and around the house mostly for the past couple weeks, but we have to venture out at some point today so I will report back on if the foliage has started to increase since the last time I went out. If so, perhaps we will fit in a fall picnic before it rains all weekend!

Let me take a moment and introduce you to your Ber month, cozy season essential. I don’t like being a “this is your sign” person but I feel obligated to be extremely honest about this. This blanket has changed my family forever 😂 and I’m not being dramatic. My husband is tall, I had blankets when we moved in together. I have been gifted blankets before but he’s always cold since I keep it at 60 and below in our house and throw blankets are never tall enough for him.

Now. I sat down with a hot coffee and an autumn ambiance video to really relax and bond with this blanket, I fell madly in love with it. Pictured our life together. Vowed this would be my from home essential to take to the hospital when I go into labor in December. And then…. My husband came home, now he had my toddler have ownership of the blanket and I only get custody while he’s at work 😂
