Test Your GFCI Outlets Every Month
Did you know that GFCI outlets help protect you and your family from electrical shock?
These outlets are commonly found in:
Bathrooms
Kitchens
Garages
Laundry rooms
Outdoor locations
How to Test Them:
1. Press the TEST button.
2. Plug in a small lamp or tester to verify the power turns off.
3. Press the RESET button to restore power.
If the outlet doesn’t trip or won’t reset, it may need to be replaced.
A faulty GFCI may not provide the protection it’s designed for.
Regular testing only takes a minute and can help keep your home safe.
