🌟 Introducing Brycen Dillinger: Melissa’s Race 2025 Ambassador 🌟

We are thrilled to welcome Brycen, a courageous 19-year-old warrior, as our ambassador for this year’s Melissa’s Race! Brycen’s journey began at just four years old when he was diagnosed with a right thalamic astrocytoma—a discovery that came unexpectedly while he was playing at daycare. A simple water slide incident led to a CAT scan and a life-changing diagnosis.

Despite the challenges, including multiple hospitalizations and a battle with moyamoya syndrome, Brycen has shown incredible resilience. He credits his amazing medical team, especially Dr. Aldana and Dr. Hanel, for their unwavering support and dedication to his recovery. Today, Brycen is thriving, thanks in part to the advancements and funding in research that organizations like Melissa’s Race strive to promote.

Brycen is passionate about giving back and helping others facing similar challenges. He embodies the spirit of hope and determination that we cherish at Melissa’s Race. Join us in supporting Brycen and the mission of our race—providing second chances at life for those in need.

Thank you, Mount Dora Half Marathon & 5K!

We had an amazing weekend sponsoring this fantastic event. It was so much fun seeing people embracing fitness and health, with kids running alongside their families during the holiday season—all with the beautiful views of Mount Dora.

A special highlight was seeing the legendary Bill Rodgers, a four-time Boston Marathon winner, inspiring everyone with his presence.
