After trying what feels like a million makeup bags, I think we finally have a winner 🤎😂 Everything I need fits, it’s cute, and I’m not digging through 5 different bags to find what I’m looking for lol.

We’re heading to the lake this weekend for fall break, and this one is definitely coming along with me! 🍂👜

The little things that make packing (and mom life in general) a little easier are always a win in my book.

Spent a lot of the weekend unpacking, doing approximately 14 loads of laundry 😂 and slowly settling back into our normal routine after the best family trip. 🤍

We had the sweetest time watching the girls take everything in, and I’m so thankful for all the little memories we made together. These little backpacks and their furry friends came along for all of it and quickly became a favorite part of their adventure. 🥹

So grateful for the time away, but also really happy to be home. 🤍

Snacks are definitely my saving grace when running around with the girls 😅

I love getting out of the house, running errands, thrifting, and being at the field, but without snacks… it would be pretty miserable 😂 I feel like I’m either packing snacks, handing out snacks, or hearing “I’m hungry” all day long.

Mom hack: always have a few easy snacks ready to grab and throw in the bag. It makes getting out the door and keeping everyone happy once we’re out so much easier.

The Maple Brothers have been a favorite lately, especially for those “we need a snack RIGHT NOW” moments. 🫶🏻

What’s your go to mom hack to make running around with your kids a little easier? 👇🏻

Signs of life around here lately. 🤎

Laundry waiting to be folded. Toys left right where they were played with. Art supplies scattered across the table and masterpieces on the fridge. Dishes in the sink. Little signs that someone was here, making, playing, creating, eating, and living.

I used to feel like these were the things I needed to hurry up and put away. Lately, I’m trying to see them a little differently.

A home doesn’t have to look untouched to be beautiful. Sometimes the best parts are the little signs that it’s being lived in. 🤍

A little nativity for little hands. 🤍

I’ve always loved creating meaningful Christmas traditions with my girls, and I have a feeling this is going to become one of ours for years to come.

I love that they can actually play with it, move the pieces around, and learn the story of Jesus’ birth through play without me worrying about anything breaking. 🥹

And the fact that we can keep it out beyond Christmas makes it even more special, a simple little reminder of the most important story, all throughout the year.

Here’s to the little traditions that become the big memories. 🤍✨

Another year around the sun. 🤍

This year wasn’t about becoming a completely different person. If anything, it was about becoming a little more intentional about the person I’m already becoming.

I started saying yes to things that made me nervous. I bet on an idea I wasn’t sure would work, tried something completely new creatively, became more intentional about pursuing friendships, and made space to be husband and wife, not just Mom and Dad.

I’m especially thankful for realizing that growth doesn’t always have to look like a huge life change. Sometimes it’s simply being brave enough to begin, intentional enough to nurture what matters, and willing to make room for the things you’ve been putting off.

Here’s to another year of learning, growing, creating, loving, and becoming. 🤍

And if you’re waiting for the “right time” to start something new, make a new friend, pursue an old dream, or make more room for yourself, take the next little step. You don’t have to have it all figured out. ✨
