Quiet walls, finally π§
Most of us decorate a wall and never think about what it is doing to the room. Hard floors, big windows, an open plan β that is a lot of sound bouncing straight back at you. This is the part where a wall can actually help.
The Target Walnut tiles are 11.8" squares of recycled PET felt, about 0.4" thick, with concentric rings pressed into the face and an NRC of 0.85. That number is the whole point: they absorb mid and high frequency sound instead of reflecting it, so a room stops sounding hollow and starts sounding calm. They are formaldehyde-free and rated P2 / E0, which matters more than it sounds like it should.
They also happen to be the easiest thing we sell to put up. Each box holds 16 tiles and 96 adhesive tabs β peel, press, done. No drill, no anchors, no patching the wall later. If you want it permanent, run a bead of construction adhesive behind each tile and it is not coming down. Trim with a utility knife around outlets and corners, then vacuum them or wipe with a damp cloth.
Three ways we have seen them used:
πͺ΅ A hall niche, floor to ceiling, as the first thing you see when you walk in
π€ A single accent wall in a dark room, where the pattern does all the work
π‘ A ceiling β the one surface nobody thinks about, and the one that echoes the most
If your living room currently sounds like an empty gym, this is a much cheaper fix than replacing the furniture π
