Ti-a Woven Goods

Ti-a Woven Goods We empower women through weaving. Our baskets are handwoven, natural and endlessly beautiful. Your purchase lifts talent and dreams. Wealth isn’t finite.

Ti-a employs weavers in 10 villages in Ghana, paying above fair trade wages and working mainly with women's co-operatives. For years we've been a fixture at farmers markets in Vail, Estes Park and across Denver. Our baskets, ranging from art to purses to storage, dog beds and wine caddies, are durable and even more gorgeous in person, made with African Kinkanhe grass and leather handles. OUR VALUES

We share prosperity. Reaching for more doesn’t have to result in someone else having less. We reach for justice. Join us in the power of a million collective actions, small and large, to treat people and planet with care. We’re always learning. Following our path means listening to the expertise of those who have already done some paving. If we learn from each other, we lift each other.

Goodbye, September. Hello, Fair Trade Month! 🧺✨

September gave us sunny market mornings, full baskets, and so many of you stopping by the booth to say hi. Thank you, truly. 💛

Now we’re stepping into October, which is Fair Trade Month. It’s the perfect time to talk about something we care deeply about: the people behind the things you bring home.

All month long, we’ll be sharing:
🧶 The weavers whose hands shape every basket
💵 Where your money actually goes (yes, the real numbers)
🔍 How to tell true handmade from a mass-made copy

Fair trade isn’t just a label. It’s a promise that the person who made your basket was paid fairly, treated with respect, and able to invest in her community.

Follow along so you don’t miss a post, and tell us in the comments: what’s one thing you’ve always wondered about fair trade? 👇
