Meet Greta!

Title: Greta the Greeter
Known for: Perimeter security, and saying hello by giving you her paw to hold (just donā€™t take both at the same time!).
Favorite office activity: Napping, checking out whatā€™s in your trash can, and looking out all of the tall windows on the first floor.
Design philosophy: ā€œPolka dots arenā€™t just chic on coats, theyā€™re a whimsical motif for your home, too! You donā€™t have to be symmetrical with them either. Get wild with asymmetry to create an engaging imbalance!ā€

The Dog Days of Summer have officially arrived at Elsy! šŸ¾ For the next few Tuesdays, weā€™re handing our ā€œMeet the Teamā€ series over to the four-legged members of Elsy Studios.

First up: Nelly, Office Exterminator
Known for: Searching every nook and cranny for a rodent or snack (one in the same?). Much to her dismay, sheā€™s yet to sniff out a real rodent here, but sheā€™s stumbled upon several fake ones we prank our co-workers with!
Favorite office activity: Diligently securing the perimeter.
Design philosophy: ā€œDog hair goes with everything and chopping pillows is so 2025. Sitting directly on top of them is the way of the future.ā€

Around here, good office culture includes everyoneā€” even the ones who sleep through meetings.

In the Field Friday! šŸ‘·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøāœšŸ»

Weā€™re taking the saying ā€œall hands on deckā€ to a new level. We love when we get a good turn-out to the on site ā€œbox walkā€. This is the important site visit where all consultants check where electrical and data j-boxes are located.

In the field Fridayā€¦ client edition!

Sometimes the best design inspiration comes from stepping into our clientsā€™ world. šŸ‘·āœØ

We took a field trip to one of our clientā€™s jobsites to see what they do firsthandā€”and wow. Getting to experience their day-to-day is one of our favorite ways to better understand their work, their challenges, and how thoughtful design can support them.

Powering connection in the field and the workplace āš”ļø

For City Light & Power, our team created a new office that brings employees together while balancing collaboration, privacy, and focus. Industry-inspired detailsā€”including a custom boardroom installationā€”connect the space directly to the companyā€™s work and identity.

Thanks to our project partners: CBRE Brokerage, CBRE Project Management, Boots Construction, Projex Furniture, and Make West
