Clarke is still to be on stall rest for 4 weeks before being let loose. He's getting twice daily walks on a leash for exercise and some mobility exercises.
I let him loose in a small area to see what his hair looks like without me holding him back.
I'm very pleased with his progress and think he will return to walking fairly normally. 😁
*He was loose for less than a minute and will not be let loose again because he moved way faster than I anticipated!

Clark Cast removal Take 2!
Well, last time the Dr. Said Clarke hadn't formed quite enough bone to move into a splint so he got a second full leg cast. It's been 4 weeks and he is getting around very well. We are hopeful today that he will be fitted with a splint just on the upper leg leaving his hood and hock able to start bearing weight again. Time to find out if this has all been worth it. 🤞 Update coming soon!
