You do not need to completely start over to give your porch a fresh, autumnal look. Transitioning your entryway from summer to fall is all about layering new textures and warm tones in with your existing setup. By making a few simple adjustments, you can create an inviting bridge between the seasons that lasts all the way through autumn.

Start by keeping your healthy, late-summer foliage plants and trailing vines, then tuck in classic autumn elements around them. Swapping out tired annuals for rich chrysanthemums, adding a few ornamental gourds, or placing textured cornstalks by the door instantly shifts the mood. Stop by the garden center this week to find the perfect accent pieces, fresh late-season plants, and inspiration to smoothly transition your outdoor spaces for the crisp days ahead.
