🪵 Mass Timber+ Conference in Philadelphia!

Jill headed to Philadelphia last week to attend Mass Timber+’s Mass Timber Conference where architects, engineers, contractors, owners, developers, and manufacturers came together to learn, share ideas, network, and discuss policies related to offsite, wood-based, construction 🙏🏼

The three-day conference focussed on sustainable building practices, primarily on mass timber and hybrid construction solutions

After the conference, Jill shared she was inspired from spending time with a bunch of other “nerds” and was “excited to help share knowledge and make mass timber projects happen” as well as come back to our team and “share lessons learned from their own project experience” 🙌🏽

Our conversation addresses the systemic challenges facing contemporary infill housing development, distinguishing between legally buildable sites and economically viable real estate! Don’t miss it 👀

Co-living is an up and coming housing arrangement that allows adults to share common areas but still inhabit their own private spaces

It encourages community and provides a natural third space where people can gather (outside of just work or their private homes)
