Today we’re celebrating an incredible milestone for EAPC President Alan Dostert: 35 years with EAPC!
Alan joined EAPC in 1991, bringing healthcare project experience and a drive to help grow client relationships. What began as an opportunity to take greater ownership of his career evolved into a leadership journey marked by growth, mentorship, and a commitment to strengthening both our firm and the communities we serve.
When reflecting on his career, Alan is most proud of EAPC’s collective accomplishments, from enhancing our design expertise and client service to developing the next generation of design professionals. His work on healthcare facilities, wellness centers, first responder facilities, and housing projects has helped create lasting impacts in communities across the region.
Ask Alan what he enjoys most about EAPC, and his answer is simple: the people. Whether working alongside colleagues or mentoring young professionals, helping others succeed has been the most rewarding part of his journey.
And for those keeping score, Alan still likes to remind our CEO, Jim Tyler, that he owns a faster full marathon finishing time. 😉
When reflecting on Alan’s time with EAPC Jim Tyler shares, “35 years with EAPC Architects Engineers is an incredible milestone and a testament to Alan’s dedication to the firm and the profession. He is an outstanding architect, a respected president, and a strong leader. Alan’s commitment and leadership have made a lasting impact on EAPC, and this anniversary is a wonderful opportunity to recognize all that he has contributed over the years. Congratulations on 35 outstanding years, Alan!”
