Some days call for a little break in the middle of everything.
A cup of coffee, a walk through the greenhouse, a little browsing around the shop, and a few minutes without anywhere else to be.
Whether you're stopping in with a garden project in mind or just passing through, there's always time for coffee.

Ready to bring a little more of the garden indoors?

As things outside start to slow down, houseplants bring color and life into the quieter months—whether it’s one great statement plant, something trailing from a shelf, or a collection that keeps getting bigger.

A little green goes a long way this time of year.

As the garden season winds down, it’s the perfect time to dream about what’s next: more flowers for bees and pollinators, a new garden bed, a welcoming entryway, or a landscape that feels complete.

The best gardens begin with planning ahead.
We’re now booking landscape design and installation projects for spring 2027. If you’re imagining something new for your outdoor space, we’d love to bring it to life.

Visit our website to learn more about our landscaping services and see how we can help create an outdoor space you’ll love.

Let’s get growing!

The holidays are still a little ways off, but we’re getting a head start.

Our online shop has a little bit of everything for gardeners, plant people, homebodies, and Mettowee fans—candles, home goods, apothecary, garden tools, small gifts, Mettowee merchandise, gift cards, and more.
We’ll be sharing a few of our favorites throughout the season. For now, take a look around and get a head start on your holiday list.

A few small details from around the garden.
Changing foliage, fading flowers, seed heads, bark, berries, and all the little textures that become easier to notice as the season changes.

Not everything needs to be done at once.

As the season starts winding down, there are a few things worth keeping an eye on in the garden—clearing out what needs to go, filling in gaps and making note of anything you'd like to change next year.

The garden gives us plenty of reminders. Sometimes it just takes paying attention.

A little reminder that winter doesn’t have to be gray.

All winter long, our greenhouse will be filling with tulips—new colors, shapes, and varieties coming into bloom week after week. The 2027 Winter Tulip Club brings a little of that color home with you, with a fresh bunch of locally grown tulips each week from February through April.

Join the Club and make winter a little brighter!

There's something beautiful about the garden changing pace.
Seed heads, dried flowers, fading foliage, and quieter colors all bring a different kind of texture to the landscape. Not every part of the garden needs to be at peak bloom to be worth looking at.
Sometimes there's just as much to appreciate in what's left behind.
