Started off veg strong in the main greenhouse. Last week we topdressed with some ORGANIC FERTILIZER WORM CASTINGS worm casting and insect frass, started a new beneficial insect regimen with DMV Beneficials and the ladies are definitely loving the buckwheat cover crop. This week we will be doing a chop and drop, and then starting to defoliate the outdoors 🤙

We’ve been busy building a new hash making room but the girls are still living like, getting bigger than I planned but that’s the way we like it 🌱💚

The stretch is finally over and we can start stacking this week. Beneficials are out, moved a few lights that were getting too close, need to bring a few Black Dog LED lights back in for the left side to improve PPFD for flower. The work never ends but this run its going to be a fun one for sure. This also means its time to start preparing for the fall run. Lets get it 🌱💚

Flower crew showed up to party!

we’ve definitely battled our fair share of problematic bugs as things happen. We are setting up for success and bringing in beneficials to keep things balanced.

I have had a lot of people ask me about mushrooms in their soil this year, they are a good thing and thats why we use mushroom compost in our soil blend!

Mushrooms break down organic matter, returning essential nutrients to the soil. This helps plants thrive! Their mycelium (the root-like structure) helps bind soil particles together, improving aeration and water retention. Fungi create a diverse ecosystem, supporting various microorganisms that enhance soil health and plant growth.

More diversity = more resilience!

So next time you see mushrooms, remember their incredible role in nurturing the earth beneath our feet…
