Something we believe strongly at RJS Custom Decks.

When you hire someone to work on your home, you’re placing a tremendous amount of trust in them.

And we don’t take that lightly.

We believe that doing the right thing matters, even when the homeowner would never know the difference.

We believe in correcting mistakes instead of covering them up.

We believe the quality of the work matters more than how quickly we can move on to the next job.

And we believe that when you hire us, you deserve to know that we’re personally involved in making sure your project meets our standards.

We aren’t trying to be the biggest deck company around. We want to be one of the most trusted.

We’re building more than decks and porches. We’re building a reputation our family can be proud of.

One thing I see pretty often—deck quotes can vary quite a bit for what looks like the same project.

Materials, proper footings, permits, insurance/licensing/bonding, and real long-term experience all play a much bigger role than most people realize in both the final product and the price.

If anyone has questions about why quotes between contractors can be so different, or what actually goes into a quality deck that’s built right the first time and made to last, I’m always happy to help answer questions or share what to look for.
