Every year we’re honored to donate citrus trees to the Indian River County 4H program. These young growers experience the entire journey from caring for their tree and learning how citrus grows to proudly exhibiting their hard work at the county fair.

Supporting the next generation of agriculture is something we truly believe in, and we’re proud to play a small part in helping these kids build knowledge, responsibility, and confidence one tree at a time.

Each year we are given a thank you card personally drawn by one of their own and signed. I can’t wait to see what they draw this year. ❤️💙❤️💙❤️ Michael Rovella

🌿 Can You Identify a Citrus Tree Without Looking at the fruit? 🍊

Believe it or not… experienced growers often can.

Each citrus variety has its own unique characteristics—from the shape and size of the leaves to the growth habit, branch structure, thorns, and even the color of new flush. These details help us identify varieties long before they ever produce fruit.

👀 Next time you’re around a citrus tree, take a closer look. What do you notice first—the leaves, the growth pattern, or the thorns?

Drop your guess in the comments, and let’s see who has the sharpest citrus eye! 🌱
