I have my Winter Inventory finished for my finished pieces (I am still not sure if I will be able to offer Winter DIY kits).

I also have my layout prepped for Callahan Promotions, Inc. Iowa's Largest Arts & Crafts Shows in Dubuque on Halloween day...but I'm considering popping up at the Freight House Farmers' Market this Saturday...what do you guys think?

Should I do it? Are y'all ready to see my Winter pieces in person and get your shopping started?!?

I'm pivoting plans for today and I won't be returning to Prairie Moon Farm. No shade to them at all.

The pumpkin patch was hopping yesterday and I enjoyed watching moms taking photos of their little punkins on the pumpkins, taking group photos for people, rearranging the pumpkins and gourds, and taking some beautiful photos (which I'm posting here because they are so pretty).

I also strung 9 protoceratops (I had to google "what dinosaur looks like a triceratops but has no horns" to get that name!), hammered 20 turkeys and 12 Christmas trees, and made 4 crosses from start to finish.

What I didn't do was sell a lot of string art - just 2 customers in 8 hours (not counting the hours of car packing, driving, setup, and teardown!) 🥴

So, in the words of Ross Geller, it is time to "PIVOT!" and I'll be spending today catching up on my task list. My next show is on Halloween day at the Grand River Center in Dubuque, Iowa for Callahan Promotions, Inc. Iowa's Largest Arts & Crafts Shows.

I am back in Knoxville one last time this weekend at Prairie Moon Farm and the weather is perfect pumpkin patch weather. I will be here today from 9-5.

INTRODUCING 2 brand new designs for my Winter Inventory!

First, the square Poinsettias are approximately 1ftx1ft for $30 (the 2 papered boards will be $31 and will be framed).

Second, the Floral arrangement with a Pointsettia are approximately 16"x10" for $35.

They are all unique, with different yarn and string combinations so if you see one that you want, let me know and I will set aside for you. I have pickup options in Orion and Rock Island plus i have upcoming show pickups in Knoxville Dubuque, and Davenport...and there is always shipping!

If you didn't get a chance to come see me at Walnut Grove Farm the past few weekends, I will be at Prairie Moon Farm this Saturday and Sunday with my remaining Fall pieces as well as all of my DIY kits.

Remember this morning's sunrise?

I turned onto our road tonight just as the sun was setting and paused my drive to snap these photos of the beautiful sky, a crane fishing in a stream, and a dozen deer munching on both sides of our road.

It's moments like these that remind me that part of Spoon River Drive is the actual drive and to pause to appreciate the beauty of these rural roads.
