We just can't get enough of the hoya caudata flowers.... They're so fluffy! 😍

Meet the Butterwort AKA Ping (Pinguicula moranensis) whose sticky little leaves definitely hit the weird mark.

Those leaves may look innocent but they're covered in glands that secrete a sticky substance and digestive enzymes once there's a snack caught on them.

Are they the most effective way to wipe out a pesky fruit fly infestation? Nope, not at all. But they might be the weirdest 😁

Since we're having a hoya night later it seems fitting that we should pick a hoya for today's weird leaf Wednesday...

Hoya macrophylla (which is sometimes known as Hoya latifolia depending on who you ask and how well people keep up with reclassifications) has some pretty neat leaves.

They're... Thick... Sturdy? Rigid? Choose your favorite non flimsy word and add in a little texture. Plus they have pretty red margins to go along with their variegation.
