Most moving walls are built to be ignored.

At the Michigan Folk School in Ann Arbor, the partitions are up all day, splitting one building into classrooms and a Learning Kitchen full of clanging pans and students talking over each other.

We clad them in Soundcore® acoustic felt planks in four colors and three widths, laid out in a pattern built to never repeat. The color ratios are fixed, the placement shifts on every panel, and the black planks never touch. Every plank was mapped across the full run of partitions to make that work.

A design puzzle we loved solving. 🧩

Our acoustic ceiling at the new Mesa Early Childhood Education Center in Colorado had two jobs: quiet busy classrooms and hold all the lighting. Partway through, the lighting plan changed and the space between our baffles doubled.

That kind of change can leave a ceiling looking thin and sounding louder. We reworked our layout so the lights and baffles fit together as one, keeping the intended look and the quiet the rooms needed.

A public library has to be two rooms at once: quiet enough for someone to get lost in a book, and welcoming enough to be the center of a town.

At Riverside Public Library in North Riverside, IL, that balance came down to the walls. Our Soundcore® acoustic panels were specified for the renovation, and we made sure every detail matched what the space needed, from the panel format to the thickness to how each piece would hold to the wall.

A town's shared room deserves that level of attention.

You don't usually look up in a bank lobby. At Leading Edge Credit Union in Marshall, Minnesota, you do.

CSI Creative fabricated and installed a custom lobby ceiling element designed to be the room's centerpiece — the kind of detail that turns an everyday banking visit into a space that feels considered from the moment you walk in.

Getting a piece like this exactly right meant protecting the design through every stage: refining the drawings, resolving the finish, and engineering a large-scale element that could be built in the shop, shipped, and reassembled true to the original design on site. Over a year later, we went back to photograph it — still exactly as drawn.

Tee time meets happy hour, minus the noise. ⛳🍸

At Five Iron Golf in Midtown Manhattan, custom Soundcore Wood Textures Waffle Clouds float overhead, bringing the warmth of natural wood grain to the space while absorbing the buzz of swings, conversation, and good times. The result is an energetic venue that still sounds great.

Thank you to the Five Iron Golf NYC team for bringing us into this project! 🙌
