Check out this total backyard transformation by Havenscapes in Guthrie, Oklahoma !

This client wanted to create a space in her backyard that brought pollinators in and created a healthy habitat for them, as well as a space for her raised garden beds, so she could start producing her own vegetables, herbs and spices. We first scraped the weeds and Bermuda out of the back half of the yard and began to set our edging. We added topsoil to grade the space for proper drainage, as well as to amend the existing red soil with more nutrient, rich and well draining topsoil.

Locally grown native perennials and grasses, as well as an Oklahoma native redbud tree will attract all the native pollinator species that belong here in Oklahoma and need help rebuilding their habitat. This small portion of a backyard will become a hub and will help more than her garden as pollinators often have a wide radius that they visit which means neighboring gardens will benefit as well!
At the center of the pollinator Garden is space for a fire pit or chiminea where the client can relax in the cool fall evenings next to a crackling fire.

Ready to enjoy your front yard landscaping? This client was unhappy with the landscaping at their new home in Oklahoma City and wanted to reimagine the space. They came to Havenscapes to get some help bringing the space back to life and making it their own.

We planted a variety of flowering shrubs and perennials that will attract pollinators as well as the attention of the neighbors!! Catmint, Shasta daisies, salvia and Russian sage all come together to form a beautiful purple and pink color palette 🎨 that will really take off next year giving plenty of color and excitement to the space. 👀 Take a peek at this outdoor living transformation in Edmond, Oklahoma 🌳
