Mike poured candles today to get ready for our upcoming shows. He opened a new bottle of Christmas Hearth fragrance oil and boy, does it look like Christmas. Just an FYI, we don't color our products, but sometimes the oil will do the job for us. 😂🎄

Happy Monday, candle friends! Leaves are changing, the air is getting crisp and cool and that means the true start of candle season! Are you looking for a cozy candle to bring fall into your home? I suggest Fall Farmhouse, it's my personal favorite and what I have under my candle warmer lamp right now. A perfect blend of pumpkin, cinnamon and clove with just a hint of fir. So cozy! We will have the full fall and holiday lines at the Midlands Holiday Arts and Crafts show on November 7-8. Come see us at the market

Happy October candle friends! We just wanted to share something exciting with you today. We've been thinking a while about our packaging and doing a little upgrade. So, after many talks with vendors and making mock ups, we have finally gotten our new boxes! These will be for the small candles only, since we are phasing out the large ones. What? Yes friends, we will still carry large candles in the online store but we are moving to just one size at markets. Those large candles are discounted right now to $25!

Anyway, new boxes, we love them! They will make their debut at the Midlands Arts and Crafts Holiday show on 11/7.

Report on today's market...we had such a great time today! It was wonderful to be back in "market mindset". Our big sellers today were the melts and the warmers! Every market is different so when people ask us what sells best, the answer really is 'it depends". Today's favorite fragrances were white linen and mandarin cranberry (both classics). We will be back in November at the State Farmer's Market. For now, off to sleep

First set up of candle season, it's a fabulous day to be out and about. Come and see us at the Swingin Purple Door on Hwy 1 in Lugoff. We will be here from 10-4!

Happy Tuesday, candle friends! I've been watching the weather lately, hoping for a cool down and it's coming this week! So excited that it's just in time for our market at the Swingin Purple Door on Saturday! Just a reminder, all large candles are priced to go at $25 and we will be running our normal market specials of buy 1 get one 1/2 off for candles and buy 4 get 1 free for melts. We can't wait to see you on Saturday!

I spy with my little eye that Fall fragrances are now out in the world and active in the store! I've had our Fall Farmhouse wax melt jars under the lamp since Monday and it smells so good!

Summertime for us is a time of thinking back and also thinking about moving forward. With that in mind, we are going to be making some changes, especially at markets. We have run all the numbers and figured that the large candles just don't move at markets. We totally get it! That's a big investment for something you may end up not loving.

So candle friends, we will still have large candles on the store, and we will be bringing them to markets until we sell out. Look for a sale on the big candles probably in the fall as we attend more markets.
