Maybe I needed to tell myself this 😅

Will the hoarder house be done before this baby is? It’s looking unlikely and that’s OKAY.

That’s life. There are tradeoffs, and some things are more important than hustling through a renovation just to meet a timeline you set for yourself.

The house will get done. I promise.

If you’re overwhelmed by renovation design but still only using AI to make cartoon images and birthday invitations, let me show you something.

This is my process of using AI to help see how colors, finishes, and fixtures can all work together in a space before I purchase anything.

AI will NOT get you to a final product. I wouldn’t even take the paint colors literally until you test them in your exact space with the lighting you have.

It IS a quick and easy way to pull things together and try different design ideas by just typing a few words.

This is my why and what nobody tells you about buying the ugly house:

1️⃣ Everyone else scrolled past it which is exactly why it wasn’t fought over or bid up
2️⃣ The price reflects the condition, not the potential. Structure & location is what I’m actually buying. Everything else is fixable.
3️⃣ Every dollar I put into it now is a dollar of equity my family didn’t have before. That’s the whole game.

I didn’t grow up around anyone who invested in real estate. Nobody in my family owned anything beyond their own house. Ugly, unwanted houses is my way of changing that one renovation at a time.

Save this for the next time you drive past a rough-looking house and think “someone should really do something with that.”
