Small business owners. Are you waiting to live your dream life?

1. Who would you be on that day?

Brave as a warrior? 

Sober as a pilot? 

Would your have a clear vision, and say it loudly? 

2. What would you do on that day?

Every day my son runs up, reaches out his little hand to me and says,"Daddy, let's throw rocks in the pond!" Would you shoo him off, because work, because tired, because me time? 

Would you take your wife to dinner and listen to her talk about laundry and her friend Betty? Or would the money filled you be above all that? 

My point is that doing what's important can't wait for buckets of cash.

So what do you lose if you wait?  Well everything. Because if you don't live it today, it will never come.   For those who wait, the green filled buckets never appear. 

Live your dream day today. 

Be that dream person today.

Has your contractor ever changed the price halfway through the project? Stressful right? Did you pay 10 grand to start and then the price went up? You lie awake at night dreading the call where you'll have to choose between the Cayman Islands or a nice kitchen. Is that why you resign to your smoke stained, formica chipped kitchen? 

You want your dream kitchen but you don't want a remodeling nightmare.   Our clients feel the same.  Is this just life? What if you could have your cake and eat it too?  What if you could know the price before you sign? But how?

We did this kitchen for a client in Clackamas county. During her free consultation she wanted to make her kitchen way bigger and move everything around.  We gave her a free estimate.  After that, she decided to invest in Livewell's design services. It's a lot less than a down payment, and we get all the details nailed down before we pull the trigger.  The design phase was really worth it and here’s why. 

We got prices from our counter guys and our plumbers etc. The electrician checked her breaker box. He said, if you want those appliances you'll need a whole new breaker box. The cost for the added work was around $4,000 dollars.  At this point she was not in contract with us to do the work. She could either change the project so she wouldn’t need so much electrical work. Or she could stick to the plan.
