⚠️ SEVERE STORMS OVERNIGHT!

Don’t be surprised if thunder wakes you up tonight!

Here’s a look at what one model is showing around 2 AM Thursday. A line of strong thunderstorms could move through portions of eastern Oklahoma overnight.

Main concerns:

* Damaging wind gusts
* Heavy rain and frequent lightning
* An isolated tornado risk cannot be completely ruled out

The latest severe weather outlook continues to highlight damaging winds as the primary concern.

IMPORTANT: This is simulated radar, NOT actual radar. The exact timing and placement of storms will likely change.

Make sure you have a way to receive warnings while you’re sleeping. Our MCWX team will be monitoring storms overnight and will go LIVE if conditions warrant.

And yes, the weather apparently forgot that some of us have to work tomorrow morning!

Just a heads up guys…

Tracking some CRANKY storms on the TAMKO Building Products radar tonight.

This activity will continue east/northeast toward Arkansas late tonight and early Thursday morning.

I think some of this will fall apart, but I cannot rule it out making it into western/northwest Arkansas.

If it does, it could be noisy, so this is your heads up if you wake up overnight with thunderstorms.

I think most of Arkansas will stay dry with this round just like today.

We will be up all night to monitor it for you, just in case.
