One month update on the driveway barrel planters! Trying to keep everything watered through the wind and unseasonable hot weather of June and early July was rough. But once that wind shut off and now with the monsoon moisture- everything is really taking off!! This is your reminder to keep fertilizing! Weekly at the minimum. I have a customer who started fertilizing her hanging baskets at nearly every watering and they have recovered beautifully from the wind! I want to see your plants! Show me pictures in the comments on how they are doing!!

This planter needs a minute! The Conservation District asked me to make a planter for their State meeting this summer where they held an auction to benefit their scholarship fund. I created 2 planters and then decided to fully donate both of these planters - and I’m excited to announce their combined auction sales raised $660 for their scholarship fund!!!
During the nursery season I had customers wanting to buy these planters. I’m so very excited I could help contribute to such a great organization!

I had 29 degrees last night which hit shortly after midnight and then hovered there until this morning. I was expecting the worst- but… I only had very minor frost damage and very sporadically through the garden on things I wasn’t able to cover. How did your garden fare???

Well…. A little late but here is our late June frost 🙄. Be sure to cover what you can and take in your hanging baskets. I think it will be quite cold tonight and since the greenhouse is closed- there are no replacements!

That’s a wrap for the 2026 season! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for supporting my nursery! It means the world to me!

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t exhausted 😂. I’m ready to be doing my own garden now for a while. That being said- I do start ordering plants in a couple of months for the 2027 year! So if you want to see something next year- let me know!! And I would love to see pictures of your flowers and gardens all summer!

✌️🫶🌸
