Our amaryllis and paperwhites have arrived, and the holiday blooming season has officially begun at Churchill’s!

There’s something so special about watching a bulb grow into a showstopping bloom right on your windowsill, especially during the darker days of winter. And planting now means flowers just in time for the holidays! 🎄

🌱 Boxed kits come with everything you need (bulb, pot and planting medium), which makes them one of our favorite gifts for teachers, neighbors, hostesses and anyone on your list. No green thumb required!

🌱 Loose bulbs are perfect if you love creating your own arrangements in a favorite pot or vase.

🌟 NEW this season: waxed amaryllis! These bulbs come sealed in wax, so there’s no soil and no watering. Just set one out and watch it bloom. They’re as easy as it gets and so beautiful on a holiday table.

Stop by and pick out your favorites while our selection is at its best!

It is with heavy hearts that we share that our beloved Oliver passed away yesterday afternoon.

Last week, Oliver began showing signs of illness, and we brought him to the vet right away. While we waited on his bloodwork, he was started on medication. When the results came back, they showed that Oliver had liver disease and was in complete liver failure. His condition declined very quickly, and despite everyone’s best efforts, there was nothing more that could be done.

Our vet shared that liver disease is unfortunately common in Amazon parrots, and that there was nothing that could have prevented it. We are grateful that Oliver was surrounded by people who loved him and cared for him until the very end.

Oliver was 19, and he lived a full, happy life here at Churchill’s. To the many customers who visited him, chatted with him, and brought their kids to see him, thank you for loving him the way we did.

We will miss his bright colors, his big personality, and the joy he brought to everyone who stopped by to say hello.

Rest easy, Oliver. You were so loved. 💚
