💦 Water in Your Basement? The Problem Could Be Outside Your Home! 🏡

We recently completed a drainage project for a homeowner who was experiencing water intrusion in their basement. After evaluating the property, we discovered that two major issues were contributing to the problem.

The existing downspouts were discharging water too close to the foundation, and the sump pump discharge was allowing water to cycle right back toward the house. Essentially, the sump pump was working overtime, pumping out water that was finding its way right back in!

🔨 Our Solution:

We installed an improved underground drainage system to redirect both the downspout runoff and sump pump discharge away from the home’s foundation, helping prevent water from accumulating where it doesn’t belong.

Proper drainage is one of the most important ways to protect your home’s foundation and basement. Sometimes the solution isn’t inside your basement at all — it’s correcting how water is managed outside your home.

🏡 WHAT A TRANSFORMATION! 🛠️✨

From dark, dingy, cluttered, and unorganized to bright, beautiful, and functional!

We took what was once an unsightly utility/laundry room and completely transformed it into a clean, organized, and inviting space that is not only practical but also pleasing to the eye.

With brighter lighting, smarter storage solutions, updated finishes, and thoughtful design, we turned an overlooked area of this home into a space that our clients can truly enjoy.

🔨 A little disclaimer: We’re not quite 100% finished! We still have one small section of countertop to install and a curtain to enclose the furnace area.

But I was so excited about how this transformation turned out that I just couldn’t wait to share it!

It’s amazing what a little vision, thoughtful planning, and quality craftsmanship can accomplish.

🏠 Basement Build-Out Progress Update!

We’re making some great progress on this basement build-out and things are really starting to come together.

Everything has been primed and is ready for the final coat of paint, flooring is going in, the v***r barrier is being installed, tile work is underway, and the doors are scheduled to go in this week. We also have quite a few finishing items coming up as we continue moving through the final stages of the project.

If everything stays on schedule, we’re hoping to have this basement wrapped up in about a week and a half.

Looking forward to sharing the finished project once everything comes together!

40 yards of concrete — DONE! 💪

We had heavy rain in the forecast, but the crew got after it and we were able to get this shop slab poured, finished, and completed before the weather moved in.

This is a full 6-inch-thick concrete slab designed with the homeowner’s future needs in mind. Whether this shop ends up housing heavy equipment, classic cars, a four-post or two-post vehicle lift, or just turns into one heck of a place to throw a party, it’s being built to handle it.

There’s something pretty satisfying about seeing 40 yards of concrete go down after all the prep work that goes into getting to this point.

Another big milestone completed on this pole building project.

Little late posting this one from Wednesday!

We’ve been making great progress on this pole building project. With the building already erected, our crew was busy Wednesday getting everything prepped and ready for the county inspection ahead of the concrete slab installation.

Next up: inspection, then it’ll be time to get the slab poured and keep this project moving forward.
