Designer Tip - Hang Drapery Higher
Create the illusion of taller ceilings and larger windows by mounting your drapery closer to the ceiling.

For an elevated, spacious look, we also recommend extending the drapery beyond the window frame. This helps frame the window beautifully while allowing more natural light in when the panels are open.

The Art of the Perfectly Dressed Window

At Newmoon Blinds, we believe window treatments are the finishing touch that brings a room to life. This elegant layered design pairs two of our most popular custom solutions for a timeless, sophisticated look.

Custom Linen Sheers
Floor-to-ceiling sheers gently filter natural light, creating a soft, airy atmosphere while helping protect your interiors from harsh UV rays.

Custom Ripple Fold Drapery
Beautifully textured drapery panels in a warm neutral tone add depth, elegance, and architectural presence. The ripple fold heading creates perfectly uniform waves for a clean, contemporary finish.

The result is a seamless blend of modern simplicity and timeless luxury.

Layering isn't just about looks - it's about making your windows work better for your home.

Sheers let in beautiful natural light while maintaining daytime privacy. Drapery adds privacy, light control, and a polished finish. Together, they create a space that's both functional and elegant.

Thinking about new blinds? Don't make these 3 common mistakes. 👇

Choosing blinds is something you'll live with every day, so it's worth getting them right.

Here are the biggest mistakes we see:

➡️ Picking blinds based only on how they look.
➡️ Measuring without considering the blind type.
➡️ Choosing the same blinds for every room.

Not all blinds are measured the same way. Inside mount, outside mount, roller shades, Roman shades, and shutters all have different measuring requirements. A small mistake can affect the fit and the final look.

The right window treatments should fit your home, your lifestyle, and how you use each space.

Have questions? Stop by our showroom or call us. We are always happy to help you find the best option for your home.
