Day 46 of building our new garden center.

The loading dock is close to being wrapped up, and we’ve started bringing in our main utilities. Electrical and plumbing had to go in first since they run underneath the slab. Once that was set, we started pouring concrete.

Next video you’ll finally get to see the footprint of the whole garden center. Can’t wait to show you.

DAY 30!

Big stretch of progress out at the new store 🙌

Excavator came in to pull more topsoil and dig the loading dock, then it was forms, rebar, and a boom pump pouring the footing. 🧱

Retaining walls come next. Meanwhile the trucks flipped from hauling material out to hauling sand in, compacting it as they go to build the base for the slab! Utilities after that! ⚡

Day 1!

Today we broke ground on our new garden center in Fargo, North Dakota.

Right now it’s just topsoil coming off so we can pour the foundation but in a few months, this dirt is going to be home to greenhouses, growing benches, and thousands of plants grown right here in North Dakota.

We’re a brother-ran, independent garden center, and we’re building this one from the ground up literally. I’ll be documenting the whole thing right here, so if you want to watch a garden center get built from bare dirt to opening day, hit follow.

Fargo, we can’t wait to grow with you. 🌱

Plant Perfect is heading to Fargo Spring 2027! Bismarck's favorite garden center is coming closer to you with a massive variety of houseplants, annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and all the garden expertise you've loved.
This means Botanical Brothers will close in the coming weeks as we prepare for this next step. Thank you for every visit and every plant you've taken home. We're so excited to keep growing with this community!
