FUN fact.

This hand made marble charcuterie board we found in a little vintage shop in Nashville a few years back inspired our salt collection. We saw it and immediately brought it to the counter.. I think it was a display piece not even for sale if I recall correctly. Meant to be, it was captivating the idea of stone playing together like this. And from it Cassidy and I developed the Salt collection where our stone is stacked, precise but softened because we make everything more difficult by requesting the stone be tapered and round in shape. 😅

You never know what walking into a shop on a suspected stop will spark.

A story of contemporary meets cottage.

A residence where the battle lies in the finishes. One person loves contemporary the other loves warmth and uniqueness and living on the lake.

We came to a compromise that stayed true to both of them. Stainless steel + brass, white oak + white paint, glass + metal, eclectic + clean.

Design can mean so many things but the most important being what it means to the person living in it every day.

Have you ever just stopped and thought, “I just need a second to breathe”?

Spring, fall, spring, fall. It feels like a relentless loop of: “Here are the new things you absolutely need to buy.” Because same.

Don’t misunderstand us—if you’re creating work you’re genuinely proud of, launch it! But does every brand really need a brand-new collection every six months just to stay relevant? Honestly, if the creative juices are flowing, go for it. But how do we honor the pieces that took years of intent to craft, develop, and refine?

Here’s to letting exceptional design actually breathe.
Speaking of honoring the process, here is our Favor Chair in her very first photo shoot—featuring a story I don’t think we’ve ever shared.

Before Cassidy and I knew a single thing about bringing a sketch to reality, we legitimately hauled our prototype chair and four Threefold Tables up four flights of stairs into an abandoned warehouse-turned-photo studio (it literally felt like the start of a horror movie). Cassidy was behind the lens, and I was running behind-the-scenes ops. We were the absolute definition of bootstrapping.
A photo from that exact sketchy shoot ended up featured in The Wall Street Journal the very week we hard-launched our furniture studio—just one month after we took it.

Fast forward to today: in a few short weeks, we’re releasing three brand-new colorways for the Favor Chair! If human-designed, contract-grade, heirloom-quality pieces matter to you, we’re your studio.

Something weighing on us lately, food for thought?

Not to say that the internet and AI can’t be embraced in someways, a lot of ways even, but creating feels special, it feels sacred and stepping onto the strategic game playing field feels like going against those creative bones in our body.
