(Not so) patiently waiting for the first Shishi Gashire Camellia buds to pop open! This fall camellia is an early season bloomer that continues flowering throughout the fall and winter months. With a mature height usually 4-5ft and a spread of 6-8ft, it makes a great foundation plant. The blooms are 3" deep rose pink with a scattering of yellow stamens.

Who said fall had to be only reds, yellows, and oranges? These Dianthus chinensis blooms boast bright colors ranging from white and purple picotee to rich merlot. Their exceptional flower form and show-stopping color add a regal touch to any cool-season landscapes, gardens, and patio planters. We've seen the exceptional performance of this 'Coronet' variety in the cooler months, but this year we saw them perform just as well in our late 90-degree days. Choosing the right variety of annuals for your zone is key to an easy transition between seasons while adding major bloom power to a dynamic landscape.

Grevillea 'Peaches and Cream' showing off new blooms in the morning sun! This Australian hybrid was first released to the trade in 2013 and did remarkably well on the West Coast. We are thrilled to see how well it did during our brutal summer, putting on massive green foliage that will show off bronze in the cooler months. These flower clusters can reach 4in long and are a favorite among our pollinators. This versatile shrub can reach 6-8ft tall and 8-12ft wide if given the area, but can also be a great patio pot plant. It can handle temps as low as 20 degrees, needing protection on the few colder nights during our winter season.
