⚡️ MEET THE TEAM: ANTHONY JONES ⚡️

We’re kicking off our Meet the Team series with the man you’ll most often see arriving at your home—Anthony Jones, Owner and Lead Generator Technician at AJ Generators & Air!

Anthony began working on residential standby generators following Hurricane Sally and has spent the past three years overseeing and maintaining industrial generators. That combination of residential and industrial experience gives him the knowledge and determination to diagnose problems, complete dependable repairs, and keep our customers’ generators ready when they’re needed most.

While AJ Generators & Air is proud to be a Generac Authorized Dealer, Anthony has experience working on several major generator brands, including Generac, Kohler, Cummins, Caterpillar, Briggs & Stratton, and more.

Anthony is a proud Foley High School graduate, husband, father of four, and lifelong member of the Baldwin County community. When he isn’t working on generators, you’ll probably find him cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide, golfing, playing disc golf, fishing, traveling with the family, or cheering on his children at their softball and soccer games and band concerts.

Anthony takes pride in treating every customer fairly, providing honest recommendations, and delivering dependable service at a reasonable price. We’re proud to have him leading the service side of AJ Generators & Air!

When you choose AJ Generators & Air, you’re choosing a local team that truly cares about keeping your family comfortable and prepared.

⚡ AJ’S GENERATOR TIP OF THE WEEK ⚡
🌿 Give Your Generator Room to Breathe

Your standby generator needs clear space around it to operate safely and efficiently. Leaves, weeds, grass clippings, mulch, shrubs, and other debris can restrict airflow, trap heat, and interfere with proper operation.

Take a few minutes to check the area around your generator and:
✅ Remove leaves and yard debris
✅ Trim back weeds, grass, and overgrown plants
✅ Keep decorations and stored items away
✅ Make sure air vents remain clear and unobstructed

Always follow the manufacturer’s recommended clearance requirements, and never attempt to clean around the unit while it is running.

A clean, open space helps your generator stay ready to safely power your home when you need it most!

💰 October 12 is National Savings Day! 💰

One of the smartest ways to save money on your generator is to take care of it before something goes wrong.

Routine maintenance can help:
🔧 Catch small issues before they become expensive repairs
🔋 Identify a weak battery before it fails during an outage
🛢️ Keep the oil, filters, and other important components properly maintained
⚙️ Improve reliability and help extend the life of your generator
✅ Make sure your system is ready when your family needs it most

AJ Generators & Air offers maintenance plans with two visits each year, priority during emergency calls, and no emergency service-call trip fee. We’ll help keep your generator in dependable working condition while giving you greater peace of mind.

A little preventive care today could help save you from a much larger repair tomorrow!

📞 Call 251-504-4504 to learn more about enrolling your generator in one of our maintenance plans.

💚 October 10 is World Mental Health Day 💚

Today is an important reminder to care for ourselves, check in on the people we love, and look for ways to reduce unnecessary stress in our everyday lives.

We know that severe weather and unexpected power outages can bring uncertainty—especially when you’re worried about keeping your family safe and comfortable. Having a dependable standby generator provides one less thing to worry about by helping keep essential lights, appliances, heating, and cooling operating when the power goes out.

Preparation can’t prevent every stressful situation, but it can bring valuable peace of mind when the unexpected happens.

If having reliable backup power would help you feel more prepared, AJ Generators & Air would be happy to help you explore your options.
