Who here has ever hired a contractor because you received their ad by mail? What source do you use to find yourself a contractor?
Ask in a local Facebook group? Google search? Making a post on your page? Go to your neighbor and ask who they use?

As I work on getting new tires for this Mini, thinking about doing a full wrap.

The story behind the tires..
3 of them got slashed while I stayed in Des Moines.
Either someone didn't like getting served papers...
Or the neighbor was jealous of my car.
Joke's on them.
I needed new tires anyways.

So...
Help me raise funds!
For the tires, the wrap...
And thermostat housing unit it sorely needs
BUT
In the form of clients!!
I am not doing a fundraiser. I will WORK for it!
I will also be selling art and furniture I have renovated. Be on the lookout on my page for those as well.
I work mainly in Iowa, but I will travel if it pays 😉
I do light and finish carpentry
I do room rental setups
I drive boxtruck

I will post a separate money meter for funds needed and I will update it with the jobs I gain to help fund this SHE Mini Cooper!

What if...

I were to do a documentary of the small towns in Iowa who actually have appealing updated buildings which may actually be attracting customers to bring business and possibly create a thriving downtown?

Towns such as:
Belmond
Humboldt
Livermore (small block of stores but has a cigar lounge and modern liquor store)

Just to name a few.

And maybe I could help fix up those towns that need a facelift.

What all towns can y'all think of in Iowa that you'd like to see with some fresh paint and repair?
What if we could make that happen with some grants or fundraising?

Throwback to a few summers ago when Jenny and I were assembling a treeless house for a client.

This project took, us longer than expected.
We arrived around noon on a Saturday and we worked past 9pm. Client shared with us some lights so we could work into the dark. The slide was a separate day that Jenny and Ashton took on and finished.

This project did not have all the holes pre-drilled and we had to improvise on some areas to make the treehouse possible. And impoved some areas to make it more stable.

We forgot to take pics. But! The client took pics. They may look AI because they were off her Iphone.

What we do?
Check out the She's Handy Enterprise page to see the work we have done.
We also offer contractor consierge service.
What is that?
We go to the client- take pics of the projects.
We talk budget and timeframe.
If we don't take it on, we find someone who can.
I meet with the contractors so the client can enjoy their vacation or focus on their work.
Until the client is happy with a contractor I have brought, I keep in contact with both client and contractor. Then I take end pics.

Simple.

This is a furnished house rental I set up/ worked on. Flooring, painting throughout. I even made the bedframes - they are solid wooden floating frames. Found the desks and dressers on Marketplace.
