Mansfield Entry Solutions LLC I began my journey in the commercial door industry back in 2002 with a national service provider.

Sales, service and installation;
Rolling steel doors, sectional doors, high speed doors, hollow metal doors, glass aluminum doors, gates and operators, counter shutters, security grilles, Dock equipment/Levelers,Panic bars/lock sets, hinges, closers. From that point, my passion for doors grew and the drive to learn all aspects within this field took off. During these years, I have had the opportunity to work for some great companies, where I have learned a variety of skills and knowledge not only on the service and installation side, but the sales and safety components as well. I take pride in every job I do and bring service with integrity.

Floor closers—like old Rixson units embedded in the concrete—have served commercial entryways well for decades. But when they age, leak hydraulic fluid, or start slamming doors, repairing or replacing them in-slab can be costly, destructive, and disruptive to your daily operations.

For this project, we deactivated the old floor closer and converted the door to a heavy-duty, surface-mounted LCN Commercial Door Closer.

🚪🔒 UPGRADING SECURITY WHERE IT MATTERS!

This door had already been the target of an attempted break-in, so simply replacing the damaged wood door wasn’t enough. The goal was to provide a stronger, more secure entry solution.

We removed the existing wood door and replaced it with a commercial-grade hollow metal door, providing a significant upgrade in strength, durability, and security.

Some repairs are becoming a lost art. 🔧

Most companies today would rather replace the entire barrel assembly than tear one down and replace the torsion spring inside it.

Not us.

This one came apart piece by piece — old spring removed, new torsion spring installed, and the barrel assembly put back into service.

There’s something satisfying about repairing what was designed to be repaired instead of automatically replacing everything.

Old-school door work is still alive at Mansfield Entry Solutions. 💪

Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the incredible courage of the firefighters, police officers, first responders, and everyday Americans who stepped forward when our country needed them most.

September 11th showed us the true meaning of courage, sacrifice, unity, and strength.

From all of us at Mansfield Entry Solutions, we honor the fallen, remember the heroes, and stand proudly with our fellow Americans.

What’s hiding inside a rolling steel door barrel? A whole lot of tension. 😎🔧

This torsion spring lives inside the barrel, and when it fails, there’s no quick patch. The barrel comes down, the spring assembly comes out, and the old spring gets replaced.

A little dirty, a little greasy, and a whole lot of stored energy—but that’s just another day in the door business. 💪

New spring. Proper tension. Back to rolling.
