Meet Drain IV! A Little Prevention for a Lot of Peace of Mind!

Imagine coming home after a long day, ready to relax in your nice, cool house. Instead, you open the door and feel a wall of hot, humid Florida air.

Your AC has shut off, and the culprit is something you probably never think about: a clogged drain line!

Your AC removes moisture from the air, and that water needs somewhere to go. Over time, algae, slime, and buildup can clog the drain line, potentially shutting down your system or causing water damage.

That's why we're excited to introduce Drain IV! 💧

Drain IV is a new product designed to help keep your AC drain line clear and reduce the risk of clogs before they turn into expensive, inconvenient problems.

Because nobody wants to spend their evening sweating, worrying about water damage, or waiting for an AC repair.

Your home should be your comfortable place, where you can relax and enjoy time with family without worrying about your air conditioner.

At Epic Air Conditioning, we're always looking for ways to help protect your comfort and give you one less thing to worry about.

Ask us about Drain IV and how it can help protect your AC system!

Here's your fall AC checklist:

✅ Change your air filter. After a long, hot summer, it may be collecting more dust than you think.

✅ Check your drain line. Florida humidity means lots of condensation, and a clogged drain can lead to water damage.

✅ Clear debris around your outdoor unit. Palm fronds, leaves, and overgrown plants can restrict airflow.

✅ Schedule a maintenance check. Catching small problems now can help prevent an unexpected breakdown later.

🌴 In Florida, pumpkin spice season is still air conditioning season!

Epic Air Conditioning is here to keep you cool and comfortable, no matter what the calendar says.

Fall has arrived in Southwest Florida!

The pumpkins are on the porch, the fall decorations are up, and we're all pretending that 87° feels a little cooler than 92°.

Meanwhile, our air conditioners are wondering when they get their fall vacation.

Good news for us, our AC keeps us comfortable no matter what the calendar says.

Tell us, what's the temperature in your house right now? And who controls the thermostat?

Florida's Four Seasons!

Forget spring, summer, fall, and winter. Here in Southwest Florida, we have our own four seasons:

☀️ Summer – It's hot.

🥵 Almost Summer – Still hot, but there's a breeze.

🌴 Still Summer – The calendar says October, but the thermostat says July.

🎄 Christmas – We decorate palm trees, wear shorts to holiday parties, and hope for one day below 70°!

And through all four seasons, there's one thing we can count on... our air conditioning!

At Epic Air Conditioning, we know Florida weather doesn't follow the calendar, so we're here to keep you comfortable all year long.

So tell us, Southwest Florida... which season are we in RIGHT NOW? And how many of you are still running your AC?

Here in Southwest Florida, we know how quickly the weather can change. One minute it’s sunny, and the next the wind is blowing, lightning is flashing, and the rain is coming down sideways.
While you’re bringing in the patio furniture and checking your storm supplies, take a minute to think about your AC too.
A few storm tips from Epic Air Conditioning:
⚡ Watch for power flickers and surges. If your power repeatedly goes on and off, your HVAC system’s electrical components can be affected.
🌀 During severe hurricane conditions, consider turning the AC off. Turn it off at the thermostat and, if appropriate and safe, at the breaker.
🌴 Never go outside during the storm to check your unit. Your safety comes first.
🔍 After the storm, inspect the outdoor unit BEFORE restarting your AC. Look for branches, debris, standing water, or visible damage.
💧 If the unit has been flooded or submerged, leave it OFF. Don’t attempt to restart it until it has been professionally inspected.
⚠️ If the breaker trips, don’t repeatedly reset it. A breaker that continues to trip could indicate a problem that needs attention.
And one of our favorite Florida storm tips? Cool the house a few degrees before severe weather arrives. If you lose power, you’ll be glad you did!
Stay safe, Southwest Florida! 🌴⛈️
If your AC isn’t acting right after the storm, give Epic Air Conditioning a call before assuming everything is okay. ❄️

Think you know your AC? Let’s see if you can spot the HVAC tricks hiding among the treats!
Before you peek at the answers, tell us which ones you think are TRICK 🎃 or TREAT 🍬:
1️⃣ Closing vents in unused rooms saves money.
2️⃣ Setting your thermostat really low will cool your house faster.
3️⃣ A dirty air filter can make your AC work harder.
4️⃣ If your AC is still cooling, it doesn’t need maintenance.
5️⃣ A bigger AC system will always cool your home better.
6️⃣ Regular maintenance can help catch small problems before they become bigger repairs.
Got your answers? 👀

They came home after being away for the summer...
The bags came through the door. The sunglasses came off. They were officially back in Southwest Florida and ready to settle in.
There was just one problem.
The house was HOT. 🥵
“No big deal,” they thought. “We’ve been gone for months. We’ll just turn down the thermostat.”
They set it to 72° and started unpacking.
An hour later...still warm.
Another hour...the AC was running, but the house wasn’t getting much cooler.
That’s when they realized something wasn’t quite right.
When a home has been sitting for months, a lot can happen. The filter may need changing, the drain line could have buildup, humidity may have become an issue, or the AC simply may not be performing the way it was when you left.
If you’re returning to Southwest Florida for the season, give your AC a little attention when you arrive. Check the filter, thermostat, and indoor temperature, and pay attention to unusual noises, smells, or moisture.
And if your AC seems to be saying “Welcome back...but I need some help,” give Epic Air Conditioning a call. 😂❄️(239) 900-4720
We’ll help get your home cool and comfortable so you can get back to enjoying Florida.

Everyone else in September:
🍁 Sweaters come out
☕ Pumpkin spice everything
🔥 Cool evenings around the fire
👢 Boots and scarves
❄️ AC gets a well-deserved break
Meanwhile in Southwest Florida...
🌴 Palm trees
🩴 Flip-flops
🥵 90 degrees
💦 Humidity that ruins your hair before you reach the car
❄️ AC still working like it’s the middle of July
Our calendar may say FALL, but apparently Southwest Florida didn’t get the memo. 😂
Around here, fall basically means summer...with pumpkins. 🎃🌴
So while everyone up north is opening their windows and enjoying that crisp fall air, we’ll be over here asking...
“Who touched the thermostat?!”

s your AC trying to tell you something?

A little hum is normal. But when your AC suddenly starts buzzing, banging, or squealing, it’s worth paying attention.

New or unusual noises can be your system’s way of warning you that something isn’t quite right. It could be an electrical issue, a loose component, a motor problem, or another part that needs attention.

And just like that strange noise your car makes, ignoring it usually doesn’t make it disappear. 😬

Catching an AC problem early could mean the difference between a smaller repair today and a much bigger headache later.

So if your AC suddenly sounds like it’s starting its own garage band... 🎸😂

📞 Give Epic Air Conditioning a call and let’s find out what all that noise is about.
