Last call for fall planting! 🍂 Our tree and shrub preorder is officially closing for the year, and we want to help you get your dream garden tucked in before winter arrives.🌳⛅

You have until October 13th to secure your favorite native trees, beautiful shrubs, and delicious edible plants. Our inventory is limited and selling out quickly, so don't miss out on your favorites! 🪵🍇

Why is October our absolute favorite time to plant? The cooler autumn weather is gentle on new plants, helping them settle in comfortably without the stress of summer heat. Even better, they naturally need much less watering and upkeep than spring plantings, giving them a beautiful, low-maintenance head start for a vibrant return next year.🍁🌻💫

Give your yard a little extra love this fall. Secure your plants before the preorder closes for the year! https://riverviewnativenursery.com/trees-shrubs/ ⏳✨

We offer a wide variety of resilient, healthy native plants for all conditions, helping you support local wildlife and increase the biodiversity in your yard.

We are absolutely thrilled to introduce our brand-new Nursery Manager, Maddie! 🌸

Maddie brings a wonderful background to our team. She graduated from Indiana State University and has previously worked as a SPED assistant/behaviorist, as well as an accounts payable representative in the assisted living industry. Now, we are so lucky to have her bringing her talents and care to Rozelle/Riverview!

To help you get to know her, here are a few fun facts about Maddie:

👶 She is a soon-to-be mom!
🐱🐶🦎 She is a huge animal lover and has a cat, a dog, and a lizard.
💖 Her favorite color is pink, and she is a massive family person.
🌮🥔 Her ultimate favorite foods are tacos and potatoes in ANY form (we can relate!).
📚🏋️‍♀️ In her free time, you can find her reading, listening to music, working out, or enjoying the great outdoors.

We are so excited for the energy, experience, and heart she is bringing to our nursery. Please join us in giving Maddie a huge, warm welcome in the comments! 👇✨

Don't let your yard get left in the shade this season. We are officially open for another round of native trees and shrubs to help your landscaping literally beat the heat. 🌿🪴

Here is exactly how they do it:

🌡️ Lower air temps: Large canopies drop surrounding temperatures by 2–9°F through evapotranspiration.
☀️ Block solar rays: Dense leaves act as natural umbrellas, blocking up to 90% of direct solar radiation.
🌾 Cool the ground: Shaded grass, concrete, and asphalt stay 20–45°F cooler than unshaded surfaces.
💰 Decrease energy bills: Planting on the south or west side can cut home AC costs by up to 30%.

Quantities are limited and move fast. Click the link in our bio and claim your summer shade today! 🔗🪴

🌿 Let’s grow something meaningful together.🌿

At Riverview, our desire is to be so much more than just a plant vendor. We want to connect like-minded individuals, spark important conversations, and bridge the gap between people, plants, and place. 🏡✨🦋

With urbanization increasing, our neighborhoods are struggling to support the biodiversity our ecosystem needs to survive. That’s where you come in! By swapping non-native plants for native ones, you help restore the natural habitat wildlife depends on.🐝🐸🦇🕸️🪱

We make it easy to start with home landscaping options sourced from local, responsibly harvested seeds—nurtured with organic fertilizer, local compost, and absolutely NO pesticides.🌱🐛

Whether you are a longtime supporter or just discovering us today, we are thrilled to have you here in our growing community!🪺🌾🍃

We offer a wide variety of resilient, healthy native plants for all conditions, helping you support local wildlife and increase the biodiversity in your yard.

Still smiling from Saturday!✨
We are completely overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible turnout at our 2nd Annual Spring Open House. Getting to hang out, catch up with familiar faces, and welcome new ones made the whole day feel so special. Seeing you all show up with your friends, families, and loved ones means the world to us. We truly couldn’t do any of this without our amazing community!🐸🪿🐛🐝

A huge shoutout to Nicole at Daylily Estates for leading such a fantastic w**e tasting, and to everyone who participated. Together, you raised $350 to support the cultural and language education for the Miami Tribe’s Fort Wayne Cultural Resource Office! 🌿🍾

An event like this takes a village, and I am incredibly lucky to have the best team in the world. A massive thank you to .kennell for prepping all week; & for the delicious baked goods and beautiful photos; , Paxton, and for traveling all the way from Indy and Milwaukee to lend a hand; and Jay & for being the most gracious hosts.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for making this magic happen!💫
